Annie Lloyd Johnson lived her life graciously, giving of herself to ultimately help others. How could one person be so selfless? Ann Johnson was selfless her entire life. We truly believe she was placed on this earth to give to others, and so she did effortlessly until her peaceful transition to be with the Lord on May 22, 2020.

Ann conducted annual food drives during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays to ensure anyone who was in need could obtain and prepare their own holiday meals.
Ann conducted clothing drives in an effort to provide professional attire to young women who was in need of professional attire for job interviews.
Ann believed in the power of education. She consistently purchased and distributed school supplies to students in need during the beginning of every school year. She also served as a role model by encouraging all to excel in academics. She even lead by example, achieving three degrees later in life.
And Ann provided affordable housing options to those families in need. If one needed a place to stay, she would go out of her way to find viable options. If she did not have a property of her own readily available, she would find suitable housing. through other resources.
In honor of my beautiful Mother, Annie Lloyd Johnson, I have launched the Annie Lloyd Johnson Foundation. This foundation will continue her legacy, with the goal of encouraging and assisting any person in need (children, young adults and ex-offenders) obtain academic excellence, life skills training, food resources and affordable housing. The Annie Lloyd Johnson Foundation is a
501 (c)(3) tax exempt Organization.
